Day 2 at 2nd annual Five-Star Basketball New York Super Session brought much of the same… stations, games and a close Orange & White Classic All-Star game to cap off the weekend. The Orange All-Stars squeezed out a 93-88 win lead by Myles Davis’s 24 points without hitting any of his trademark 3 pointers. The White All-Stars were led by Adonis Filer’s 20 points in the loss. Throughout the weekend college coaches popped in and out to evaluate the talent and open up dialect in the recruiting process. The 2nd annual Five Star Basketball New York Super Session which had to be rescheduled due to hurricane Irene was held this weekend at the Brewster Sports Center in Brewster New York. There was an abundance of talent there despite the start of school, fall leagues, SAT prep classes and various other things that kept some high level players from Baltimore, Philly and Virginia from attending. New York represented well as always with New Jersey and New England following close behind.

Five Star would like to thank our sponsors Gatorade and Reebok whose products elevate our camp to a different level.

Gatorade whose G Series Prime, Perform and Recover kept players and coaches hydrated all summer long at camps throughout the country.

www.gatorade.com   has all the information you need

Reebok whose gear package for staff, reversible jerseys for players and basketballs kept us all looking stylish at camp.

What differentiates Five-Star Basketball camp from the others, is what sets us apart from the rest….STATIONS….while some camps focus solely on exposure, games and make stations ” optional”, Five-Star stresses the importance of drills to skill develop kids into becoming well-rounded players of the game they love and help them to strive to improve their game to take to the next level and beyond.
